When we contact you
About your enquiry
While your enquiry is running we will get in touch: by email, and where necessary by SMS or WhatsApp. This is only ever about your enquiry, its status, an offer received or a missing detail. No separate consent is needed for this; it is part of the service you asked for.
The providers we passed your enquiry to will also contact you, mostly by email, some also by SMS or telephone. That is how they handle your enquiry. On request we will tell you which providers received your data: datenschutz@giromatch.com
Beyond that, with your consent
If you have ticked the box, we will send you messages by email, SMS and WhatsApp even when no enquiry of yours is running. These are about financial products and financial topics, in particular:
- loans, small loans and debt refinancing
- credit cards and cards with a spending limit
- deferred payment when buying, and salary advances
- secured financing (property, vehicle) or sale and rent back
- requirements and prospects in lending, creditworthiness and credit reference agencies
- ways out of over-indebtedness
- current accounts, savings and investment
- insurance relating to financing and protection
- comparisons, tests and guides on these topics
The list is not exhaustive. We also present and link to offers from other providers. If a contract comes about through such a link, we receive a commission. This does not cost you anything extra. We do not pass your contact details on; you enter them yourself with the provider if you wish to.
We do not use the telephone for this. If you have allowed notifications in your browser, we will also send you information that way.
What we measure
Our emails contain a small counting pixel. It tells us whether you opened a message and which link you clicked. We use this to send you fewer and more relevant messages. If you withdraw your consent, this measurement ends as well.
Withdrawal
At any time, with effect for the future:
- via the unsubscribe link in every email
- by replying „STOP“ to an SMS or WhatsApp message
- informally to datenschutz@giromatch.com
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
